In this pool bath on our new construction spec home we used luxurious marble tile for the shower. These are 12×24 Crema polished marble tiles laid horizontally in an upgraded brick pattern.
We then put in a frameless sheet of glass as a shower enclosure and kept the back open for a more modern style walk-in shower.
We finished the shower by installing Moen oil-rubbed-bronze fixtures and placed the water trim handle access on the open side so the homeowner can set the water temperature first without actually having to step into the shower and under the faucet.
